Case Study: eCommerce Brand

Studiu de caz: Brand de eCommerce

In an increasingly competitive digital landscape, the difference between an online store that merely “gets by” and one that grows rapidly isn’t just about the products or the budget—it lies in how the marketing strategy is designed and executed. From how well you understand your audience, to the way you structure your campaigns and optimize your content—every detail matters.

Against this backdrop, a Romanian brand in the electronic gadget niche managed to triple its order volume and double its marketing efficiency in less than a year, thanks to a tailored strategy and continuous Meta Ads optimization.

Initial Context

Our client already had a functioning eCommerce store, with a well-defined portfolio of tech products and smart gadgets. Sales were stable but had plateaued. With just over 1,100 orders per year and a marketing budget of around 143,000 RON, the brand was generating an average ROAS of 4.79—a decent return, but far from what the business could truly achieve.

In short, the ads were delivering results, but not at the scale or consistency the brand needed. Sales weren’t predictable, and the cost per acquisition was often too high relative to the value of the products.

Our Objective

The goal was clear from the start: to scale sales, but not at any cost. We aimed to increase performance while maintaining—or even improving—profitability. The strategy focused on two key directions:

  • maximizing conversions from the same budget (or with only a small increase),
  • building stable campaigns that would drive predictable, long-term results, not just short-term spikes.

The Strategy

We started with an in-depth analysis of the target audience and their behavior. From there, we built a campaign structure within Meta Ads (Facebook + Instagram) to strategically cover all funnel stages—from awareness and acquisition, to remarketing and retention.

We relied on Purchase-optimized campaigns designed to drive direct conversions, using a balanced mix of:

  • creatives focused on product utility and clear visual demonstrations,
  • benefit-driven ad copy tailored to a young, tech-savvy audience,
  • custom and lookalike audiences built from high-quality pixel data,
  • continuous testing of visuals, CTAs, and offers.

A core pillar of the strategy was ongoing testing and message adaptation based on seasonality, buyer behavior, and product type. The campaigns were kept live consistently, with regular adjustments to allow the Meta algorithm to learn, but also stay effective amid market fluctuations.

Results Achieved

After 12 months of collaboration, the results far exceeded expectations:

  • The number of annual orders grew from 1,100 to over 3,360—a growth of more than 200%.
  • Total conversion value surpassed 2,160,000 RON, up from approximately 687,000 RON the year before.
  • The budget increased by only 38%, reaching 199,100 RON.
  • The average ROAS more than doubled, from 4.79 to 10.87.

In short: significantly more sales, with a controlled budget and nearly double the efficiency. Every RON invested brought back twice as much compared to the previous year.

Conclusion

This case study is a clear example that in eCommerce, simply “running ads” is not enough. Strategy, testing, relevant content, and continuous optimization are what truly drive performance. Every product has an audience—but you need to know how, where, and when to reach them.

Outstanding results aren’t reserved for brands with massive budgets. They’re within reach for any business that understands the value of working with a performance marketing partner who treats your budget as an investment—not just an expense.
